Photographic Artist Brandy Sebastian is a conceptual storyteller by visual navigation. Her work is not a single chord but an abstract symphony of perception and purpose; that incorporate vast styles of photography as well as her out of the box presentation of a finished piece. Brandy’s imagery is an optical representation of an eclectic conversation between “seeing” and “feeling”. Her art is a reflection and expansion of her philosophical beliefs that encompass an array of teachings both spiritual and universal. She has an innate ability to cogitate beyond the consciousness of what’s seen, as if to help express the aura of all that encircles us.
Brandy is a practiced photographer both professionally, local and international, and as a student of over 20 years. She is an award-winning fine art photographer with creations that have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the West coast in the United States. Currently, she is a Collective member and manager of a magnificent photographic space in Escondido, California, The Photographer’s Eye Gallery, that features her work in multiple group shows throughout the year. She is one of five photographers in a wonderful club of women, True North Photo Society, that nurtures education, photo excursions, and group exhibitions. Finally, a fellow in the Snow Creek Collaborative, an extraordinarily talented and diverse gathering of image makers that offer creative support and critiquing.
